Yuri Pogorelich is a career military officer, serving with the CIS Rocket Corps prior to being seconded to the Padeian Armed Forces. He is appointed to command Strikeforce: Morituri after the death of Beth Luis Nion from the Morituri Process.
He is not as easy going a commander as his predecessor. He has not been given access to the process itself and spends most of his time on the Mag-lev train the Strikeforce operates from, and which constantly criss-crosses the North American Continent.
